1. CHECK TURN SIGNAL FLASHER ASSEMBLY

  1. Disconnect the L25 connector.

  1. Measure the voltage of the wire harness side connector.

    Standard voltage:
    Tester Connection
    Condition
    Specified Condition
    L25-1 (IG) - Body ground
    Engine switch off
    Below 1 V
    L25-1 (IG) - Body ground
    Engine switch on (IG)
    10 to 14 V
    L25-4 (B) - Body ground
    Always
    10 to 14 V
    L25-7 (E) - Body ground
    Always
    Below 1 V

  1. Reconnect the connector.

  1. Measure the voltage of the connector.

    Standard voltage:
    Tester Connection
    Condition
    Specified Condition
    L25-2 (LR) - Body ground
    Hazard warning switch OFF
    Below 1 V
    L25-2 (LR) - Body ground
    Hazard warning switch ON
    10 to 14 V (60 to 120 times per minute)
    L25-2 (LR) - Body ground
    Engine switch on (IG) and turn signal switch (right turn) OFF
    Below 1 V
    L25-2 (LR) - Body ground
    Engine switch on (IG) and turn signal switch (right turn) ON
    10 to 14 V (60 to 120 times per minute)
    L25-3 (LL) - Body ground
    Hazard warning switch OFF
    Below 1 V
    L25-3 (LL) - Body ground
    Hazard warning switch ON
    10 to 14 V (60 to 120 times per minute)
    L25-3 (LL) - Body ground
    Engine switch on (IG) and turn signal switch (left turn) OFF
    Below 1 V
    L25-3 (LL) - Body ground
    Engine switch on (IG) and turn signal switch (left turn) ON
    10 to 14 V (60 to 120 times per minute)
    L25-5 (EL) - Body ground
    Engine switch on (IG) and turn signal switch (left turn) OFF
    10 to 14 V
    L25-5 (EL) - Body ground
    Engine switch on (IG) and turn signal switch (left turn) ON
    Below 1 V
    L25-6 (ER) - Body ground
    Engine switch on (IG) and turn signal switch (right turn) OFF
    10 to 14 V
    L25-6 (ER) - Body ground
    Engine switch on (IG) and turn signal switch (right turn) ON
    Below 1 V
    L25-8 (HAZ) - Body ground
    Hazard warning switch OFF
    10 to 14 V
    L25-8 (HAZ) - Body ground
    Hazard warning switch ON
    Below 1 V

    If the result is not as specified, replace the flasher assembly.
