1. INSTALL REAR BUMPER RETAINER UPPER LH

  1. Install the retainer with the screw and claw.



2. INSTALL REAR BUMPER RETAINER UPPER RH

HINT:
Use the same procedures described for the LH side.



3. INSTALL REAR BUMPER NO. 2 SIDE SUPPORT LH

  1. Install the side support with the 4 screws and 2 claws.



4. INSTALL REAR BUMPER NO. 2 SIDE SUPPORT RH

HINT:
Use the same procedures described for the LH side.



5. INSTALL REAR BUMPER NO. 1 REINFORCEMENT

  1. Install the reinforcement with the 8 bolts.

    Torque:
    20 N*m{ 204 kgf*cm , 15 ft.*lbf }



6. INSTALL REAR BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER

  1. Install the energy absorber to the reinforcement.



7. INSTALL REAR BUMPER COVER

  1. w/ Clearance sonar system:
    Connect the 4 ultrasonic sensor connectors.

  1. Attach the 7 claws on the LH side.

  1. Attach the 7 claws on the RH side.

  1. Install the bumper cover with the 4 clips and 6 screws.



8. INSTALL REAR BUMPER NO. 1 PLATE

  1. Install the 2 bumper plates.



9. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL


10. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

  1. Perform initialization (Click here).

    CAUTION:
    Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.



11. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT

  1. Check the SRS warning light (Click here).
