Heating temperature:

NOTICE:
Do not heat the vehicle body and clip excessively.

HINT:
  1. Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
  2. The procedures listed below are for the LH side.
  3. When installing the clip, heat the vehicle body and clip using a heat light.



1. INSTALL ROOF DRIP SIDE FINISH MOULDING CLIP

HINT:
Use the procedures below to replace damaged or accidentally removed clips. If this step is not necessary, go to the next step.

NOTICE:
After press-fitting the clips, wait 30 minutes or more before installing the moulding.

HINT:
Time needed for complete hardening: 24 hours

  1. Remove the tape that remains on the moulding installation area of the vehicle body, and then clean the surface with white gasoline.

  1. Heat the clip installation surfaces of the vehicle body and the installation part of the clips.

  1. Install new clips in the positions shown in the illustration. Press-fit the clips by hand.



2. INSTALL ROOF DRIP SIDE FINISH MOULDING

  1. Install the moulding to the vehicle body's 16 clips.

  1. Remove the protective tape from the edges of the moulding.
