1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL


2. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER NO.2

  1. Remove the 4 screws, 2 grommets, 2 spacers and under cover.



3. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER AIR GUIDE BRACKET

  1. Remove the 2 bolts and engine under cover air guide bracket.



4. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

5. REMOVE PROPELLER W/CENTER BEARING SHAFT ASSEMBLY
(Click here)


6. SEPARATE FLOOR SHIFT GEAR SHIFTING ROD SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Set the shift lever to the neutral position.

  1. Remove the nut, and separate the floor shift gear shifting rod sub-assembly.



7. SUPPORT AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY

  1. Support the automatic transmission assembly with a transmission jack.



8. SEPARATE ENGINE REAR MOUNTING MEMBER

  1. Remove the 4 bolts, and separate the engine rear mounting member from the body.

  1. Remove the 4 nuts and engine rear mounting member from the automatic transmission assembly.



9. REMOVE PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY

  1. Disconnect the park/neutral position switch connector.

  1. Remove the nut and transmission control shaft lever.

  1. Using a screwdriver, pry out the lock washer.

  1. Remove the lock nut and lock washer.

  1. Remove the bolt and park/neutral position switch.
