1. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL


2. SEPARATE SPEED SENSOR FRONT

  1. Disconnect the speed sensor connector from the speed sensor front.

    NOTICE:
    1. Be careful not to damage the speed sensor.
    2. Prevent foreign matter from adhering to the speed sensor.



3. SEPARATE FRONT DISC BRAKE CALIPER ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the 2 bolts, and disconnect the brake caliper assembly.

    NOTICE:
    Use a wire or an equivalent to keep the brake caliper from hanging down by the flexible hose.



4. REMOVE FRONT DISC

  1. Put matchmarks on the front disc and the axle hub.

  1. Remove the front disc.



5. REMOVE FRONT AXLE HUB SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the 4 bolts, front axle hub sub-assembly and front disc brake dust cover.



6. REMOVE STEERING KNUCKLE

  1. Remove the clip and nut.

  1. Using SST, remove the steering knuckle from the upper suspension arm.

    NOTICE:
    1. Pay careful attention not to damage the steering knuckle because it is made of aluminum and may damage easily.
    2. Do not damage the ball joint dust cover.
    3. Make sure that the SST is securely set to the steering knuckle spacer.
    4. If the steering knuckle spacer has come off, replace the steering knuckle with a new one.
    5. Make sure that the string of the SST is securely tied to the vehicle.



7. SEPARATE LOWER BALL JOINT ASSEMBLY FRONT

  1. Separate the 2 bolts and lower ball joint from the steering knuckle.
