DESCRIPTION

The multi-display receives the reverse signal from the cowl side junction block ECU LH and sends the signal to the navigation ECU. The multi-display receives information about the GPS's antenna, and then adjusts the vehicle position.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.CHECK COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK ECU LH

  1. Measure the voltage of the junction block.

    Standard voltage:
    Tester Connection
    Shift Lever Position
    Specified Condition
    W2-2 (BACK) - Body ground
    R
    10 to 14 V
    W2-2 (BACK) - Body ground
    Not R
    Below 1 V

REPLACE COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK ECU LH
OK


2.CHECK WIRE HARNESS (MULTI-DISPLAY - COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK ECU LH)

  1. Disconnect the L46 multi-display connector.

  1. Disconnect the W2 ECU connector.

  1. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

    Standard resistance:
    Tester Connection
    Condition
    Specified Condition
    L46-13 (REV) - W2-2 (BACK)
    Always
    Below 1 Ω
    L46-13 (REV) - Body ground
    Always
    10 kΩ or higher
