VVT SENSOR > INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL VVT SENSOR (BANK 1)

  1. Install the VVT sensor with the bolt.

    Torque:
    7.5 N*m{ 76 kgf*cm , 66 in.*lbf }

  1. Connect the No. 5 injector connector.

  1. Connect the No. 5 ignition coil connector.

  1. Connect the VVT sensor connector.



2. INSTALL VVT SENSOR (BANK 2)

  1. Install the VVT sensor with the bolt.

    Torque:
    7.5 N*m{ 76 kgf*cm , 66 in.*lbf }

  1. Connect the No. 4 injector connector.

  1. Connect the No. 4 ignition coil connector.

  1. Connect the VVT sensor connector.



3. INSTALL INTAKE AIR CONNECTOR PIPE

  1. Install the connector pipe with the bolt and 2 hose clamps.

    Torque:
    4.0 N*m{ 41 kgf*cm , 35 ft.*lbf } for hose clamps
    5.0 N*m{ 51 kgf*cm , 44 ft.*lbf } for bolt

  1. Connect the air hose and No. 1 ventilation hose.



4. INSTALL V-BANK COVER
  1. Install the V-bank cover with the 2 nuts.

    Torque:
    5.0 N*m{ 51 kgf*cm , 44 in.*lbf }



5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL


6. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
  1. Perform initialization (Click here).

    NOTICE:
    Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
