1. REMOVE NO. 1 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT

  1. Remove the screw and duct.



2. REMOVE NO. 2 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT

3. REMOVE DEFROSTER NOZZLE ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the 3 screws and nozzle.



4. REMOVE NO. 3 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT

5. REMOVE NO. 1 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT

6. REMOVE NO. 2 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT

7. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY

  1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 4 claws.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 6 clips and remove the register.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.



8. REMOVE NO. 3 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY

  1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 8 claws and remove the register.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.



9. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY

  1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 6 claws and remove the register.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.



10. REMOVE FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

  1. Disconnect the 2 connectors and remove the instrument panel wire assembly from the front passenger airbag assembly.

    NOTICE:
    When handling the airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.

  1. Remove the 2 screws.

  1. Disengage the 5 hooks (A).

  1. Disengage the 5 hooks (B) and remove the front passenger airbag assembly from the instrument panel.



11. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL SPEAKER PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 clips and 2 claws.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  1. Remove the speaker panel.



12. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL SPEAKER PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 clips and 2 claws.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  1. Remove the speaker panel.



13. REMOVE NO. 1 SPEAKER HOLE COVER

  1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 4 clips and remove the speaker panel.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.



14. REMOVE NO. 2 FRONT SPEAKER RH

  1. Remove the 2 bolts.

  1. Disconnect the connector and remove the speaker.

    HINT:
    Do not touch the cone part of the speaker.



15. REMOVE NO. 2 FRONT SPEAKER LH

  1. Disconnect the connector and remove the speaker.

    HINT:
    Do not touch the cone part of the speaker.



16. REMOVE FRONT STEREO COMPONENT SPEAKER

  1. Disconnect the connector.

  1. Remove the 3 screws and speaker.

    HINT:
    Do not touch the cone part of the speaker.



17. REMOVE ENGINE SWITCH

18. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE ARMREST ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the 4 screws.

  1. Remove the rear console armrest, as shown in the illustration.



19. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX SUB-ASSEMBLY UPPER

  1. Remove the console box as shown in the illustration.



20. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ILLUMINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY

  1. Using a screwdriver, detach the clamp and 2 claws.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  1. Remove the light.



21. REMOVE POWER OUTLET SOCKET ASSEMBLY

  1. Rotate the socket to disengage the notch.

  1. Pull out the socket halfway and rotate the socket until its protrusion is aligned with the groove of the cover.

  1. Remove the socket from the cover.



22. REMOVE POWER POINT SOCKET COVER

  1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the socket cover.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.



23. REMOVE NO. 5 CONSOLE BOX MOUNTING BRACKET
  1. Remove the 2 screws and bracket.
