POWER STEERING ECU > INSTALLATION

1. Connect the 2 power steering ECU assembly connectors and securely lock the connectors.
   

2. Install the power steering ECU assembly to the battery tray with the 2 bolts.
   

   Torque:

   5.0 N*m{ 51 kgf*cm , 44 in.*lbf }

3. Install the ground cable terminal with bolt (A).
   

   Torque:

   5.0 N*m{ 51 kgf*cm , 44 in.*lbf }

4. Install the battery tray support No.1.
   

1. Install the battery.
   

2. Install the battery insulator.
   

3. European models only :
   
   

   1. Connect the battery thermometer connector.
      

4. Install the battery clamp with the 2 nuts.
   

   Torque:

   2.9 N*m{ 30 kgf*cm , 26 in.*lbf }

5. Connect the positive (+) battery cable to the battery.
   

   Torque:

   5.6 N*m{ 57 kgf*cm , 50 in.*lbf }

6. Connect the negative (-) battery cable to the battery.
   

   Torque:

   5.6 N*m{ 57 kgf*cm , 50 in.*lbf }
