DESCRIPTION

The leveling actuator receives the signal from the AFS ECU to operate. The AFS ECU receives signals regarding the operating conditions of the leveling actuator.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING INTELLIGENT TESTER

  1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

  1. Turn the engine switch on (IG) and turn the intelligent tester main switch on.

  1. Select the item below in the Active Test and then check the motor operation.

    AFS ECU:

2.CHECK WIRE HARNESS (HEADLIGHT BEAM LEVEL CONTROL MOTOR - AFS ECU)

  1. Disconnect the B11 and B2 headlight assembly connectors.

  1. Disconnect the A30 AFS ECU connector.

  1. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

    Standard resistance:

    LH side (B2417)
