| 1.READ DATA LIST (BATTERY VOLTAGE) |
Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.
Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Data List / Primary / Battery Voltage.

| 2.INSPECT FUSE (EFI) |

Remove the EFI fuse from the engine room No. 2 junction block.
Measure the resistance of the fuse.

| 3.CHECK WIRE HARNESS (ECM - EFI FUSE, EFI FUSE - BATTERY) |

Check the wire harness between the EFI fuse and ECM.
Remove the EFI fuse from the engine room No. 2 junction block.
Disconnect the A6 ECM connector.
Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

| Junction block EFI fuse terminal 2 - A6-4 (BATT) | Below 1 Ω |
| Junction block EFI fuse terminal 2 or A6-4 (BATT) - Body ground | 10 kΩ or higher |
Check the wire harness between the EFI fuse and battery.
Remove the EFI fuse from the engine room No. 2 junction block.
Disconnect the battery positive (+) terminal.
Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

Check that the battery is not depleted.
