DESCRIPTION

This circuit provides the power to the radio receiver assembly.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.INSPECT FUSE (RAD NO. 3, ACC)

  1. Remove the RAD NO. 3 fuse from the cowl side junction block LH.

  1. Remove the ACC fuse from the cowl side junction block RH.

  1. Measure the resistance of the fuses.

    Standard resistance:
    Below 1 Ω



NG
REPLACE FUSE
OK


2.CHECK WIRE HARNESS (RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)

  1. Disconnect the L54 receiver connector.

  1. Measure the voltage of the wire harness side connector.

    Standard voltage:
    Tester Connection
    		Condition
    		Specified Condition
    L54-1 (B) - Body ground
    		Always
    		10 to 14 V
    L54-11 (ACC) - Body ground
    		Engine switch on (ACC)
    		10 to 14 V

  1. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connector.

    Standard resistance:
    Tester Connection
    		Condition
    		Specified Condition
    L54-20 (GND) - Body ground
    		Always
    		Below 1 Ω

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
OK
