DESCRIPTION

This circuit provides the power to the stereo component amplifier.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.INSPECT FUSE (RAD NO. 1, RAD NO. 2, ACC)

  1. Remove the RAD NO. 1 and RAD NO. 2 fuses from the engine room No. 1 relay block.

  1. Remove the ACC fuse from the cowl side junction block RH.

  1. Measure the resistance of the fuses.

    Standard resistance:
    Below 1 Ω



NG
REPLACE FUSE
OK


2.CHECK WIRE HARNESS (STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)

  1. Disconnect the V29 and V31 amplifier connectors.

  1. Measure the voltage of the wire harness side connectors.

    Standard voltage:
    Tester Connection
    		Condition
    		Specified Condition
    V31-1 (+B) - Body ground
    		Always
    		10 to 14 V
    V31-10 (+B2) - Body ground
    		Always
    		10 to 14 V
    V29-12 (ACC) - Body ground
    		Engine switch on (ACC)
    		10 to 14 V

  1. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connector.

    Standard resistance:
    Tester Connection
    		Condition
    		Specified Condition
    V31-16 (GND) - Body ground
    		Always
    		Below 1 Ω
    V31-15 (GND2) - Body ground
    		Always
    		Below 1 Ω

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
