4.CHECK WIRE HARNESS (NO. 1 JUNCTION BLOCK - REAR COMBINATION LIGHT (BACK-UP LH OR BACK-UP RH) - BODY GROUND)

    E108515E19
  1. Check the wire harness between the rear combination light (back-up LH) and No. 1 junction block, and the rear combination light (back-up LH) and body ground.

    1. Disconnect the a2 light connector.

    2. Disconnect the LA junction block connector.

    3. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

      Standard resistance:
      Tester Connection
      Specified Condition
      LA-2 (BCK1) - a2-1 (B)
      Below 1 Ω
      LA-2 (BCK1) or a2-1 (B) - Body ground
      10 kΩ or higher

    4. Connect the LA junction block connector.

    5. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connector.

      Standard resistance:
      Tester Connection
      Specified Condition
      a2-4 (E) - Body ground
      Below 1 Ω
