1. INSPECT FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (for LHD)

  1. Measure the resistance of the buckle switch.

    Standard resistance:
    Tester Connection
    Condition
    Specified Condition
    d1-2 - d1-3
    Seat belt is fastened
    Below 1 Ω
    d1-2 - d1-3
    Seat belt is unfastened
    1 MΩ or higher

    If the result is not as specified, replace the inner belt assembly.



2. INSPECT FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH (for LHD)

  1. Measure the resistance of the buckle switch.

    Standard resistance:
    Tester Connection
    Condition
    Specified Condition
    c3-2 - c3-3
    Seat belt is fastened
    Below 1 Ω
    c3-2 - c3-3
    Seat belt is unfastened
    1 MΩ or higher
    A2 - A4
    Seat belt is unfastened
    1 MΩ or higher
    A2 - A4
    Seat belt is fastened
    (Apply more than 21.5 Nm (219 kgf cm, 15.9 ft. lbf) to occupant detection sensor)
    Below 1 Ω
    A2 - A4
    Seat belt is unfastened
    (Seat is not occupied)
    1 MΩ or higher

    If the result is not as specified, replace the inner belt assembly.



3. INSPECT FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH (for RHD)

    Seat belt is fastened
