1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL


2. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER NO.2


3. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

4. REMOVE PROPELLER W/CENTER BEARING SHAFT ASSEMBLY
(Click here)


5. DRAIN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID

  1. Remove the drain plug, the gasket , and drain the ATF.

  1. Install a new gasket and the drain plug.

    Torque:
    20 N*m{ 205 kgf*cm , 15 ft.*lbf }



6. REMOVE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLANGE YOKE ASSEMBLY

  1. Using SST and a hammer, loosen the staked part of the nut.

    HINT:
    Move the shift lever to the P position.

  1. Set the SST.

  1. Using SST and 30 mm socket wrench, remove the nut.

  1. Remove the SST.

  1. Tap the output flange with a plastic hammer to remove it.

  1. Using a screwdriver, remove the oil seal from the automatic transmission flange yoke.



7. REMOVE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION EXTENSION HOUSING OIL SEAL

  1. Using SST, remove the oil seal.
