1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
Wait for 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable to prevent the airbag working.



2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE

  1. Using a moulding remover, detach the 5 claws and remove the scuff plate.



3. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE

  1. Detach the 5 claws and remove the scuff plate.



4. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR GARNISH LOWER

  1. Detach the 2 claws and 5 clips, and remove the garnish.



5. SEPARATE FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY

  1. Disconnect the pretensioner connector as shown in the illustration labeled A.

  1. Disconnect the tension reducer connector labeled B.

  1. Disconnect the pre-collision safety connector labeled C.

  1. Remove the 2 bolts and separate the front seat outer belt assembly.



6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT BELT RETRACTOR COVER

  1. Disengage the claw and remove the front seat belt retractor cover from the body.



7. REMOVE WIRING HARNESS PROTECTOR

  1. Disengage the 2 claws (A) and open the protector cover.

  1. Disconnect the connector.

  1. Disengage the 3 claws (B) and remove the wiring harness protector from the body.

  1. Remove the hole plug.



8. REMOVE SIDE AIRBAG SENSOR

  1. Remove the 2 bolts and side airbag sensor from the body.

  1. Disconnect the connector.
