1. INSTALL DRIVER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

  1. Connect the connector.

    NOTICE:
    When handling the airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.

  1. Install the driver side knee airbag assembly with the 4 bolts.

    Torque:
    10 N*m{ 102 kgf*cm , 7 ft.*lbf }



2. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY NO.1 PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Install the hood lock control cable to the safety pad.

  1. Attach the 8 clips and claw to install the safety pad.



3. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER NO.1 COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Connect the connectors.

  1. Attach the 2 claws to install the under cover.

  1. Install the 2 screws.



4. INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL

  1. Attach the 2 claws and 4 clips to install the side panel.



5. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END

  1. Attach the 4 clips and 3 claws to install the finish panel end.

  1. Install the screw.



6. INSTALL FRONT ASH RECEPTACLE ASSEMBLY

  1. Connect the connector.

  1. Attach the 9 clips to install the ash receptacle.

  1. Install the shift lever knob and twist it in the direction indicated by the arrow.



7. INSTALL CONSOLE UPPER PANEL GARNISH FRONT

  1. Attach the claws to install the garnish.



8. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER

  1. Attach the 3 claws to install the trim cover.

  1. Pull out the folded lip of the weatherstrip.



9. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE

  1. Attach the 5 claws to install the scuff plate.

  1. Pull out the folded lip of the weatherstrip.



10. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL


11. PERFORM INITIALIZATION


12. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
