1. CHECK HIGH PRESSURE SIDE FUEL PUMP OPERATION

  1. Remove the V-bank cover.

  1. Start the engine.

  1. Using a sound scope, check the operating sound of the pump.
    If there is no sound, check the fuel pump, wire harness and ECM.

  1. Stop the engine.

  1. Reinstall the V-bank cover.



2. INSPECT HIGH PRESSURE SIDE FUEL PUMP

  1. Measure the resistance between the terminals.

    Standard resistance:
    1.19 to 1.39 Ω at 20°C (68°F)

    If the result is not as specified, replace the fuel pump.
