Remove the courtesy switch from the hood lock.
Measure the resistance of the switch.
| Tester Connection | Condition | Specified Condition |
| 1 - 2 | Pushed (ON) | Below 1 Ω |
| 1 - 2 | Not pushed (OFF) | 10 kΩ or higher |

Disconnect the 2G junction block connector.
Disconnect the B7 switch connector.
Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

| 2G-3 - B7-2 | Below 1 Ω |
| B7-1 - Body ground | Below 1 Ω |
| 2G-3 or B7-2 - Body ground | 10 kΩ or higher |
