DESCRIPTION

This circuit provides power to operate the immobiliser code ECU.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.INSPECT FUSE (SECURITY)

  1. Remove the SECURITY fuse from the cowl side junction block RH.

  1. Measure the resistance of the fuse.

    Standard resistance:
    Below 1 Ω

REPLACE FUSE
OK


2.CHECK WIRE HARNESS (IMMOBILISER CODE ECU - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)

  1. Disconnect the L58 ECU connector.

  1. Measure the resistance and voltage of the wire harness side connector.

    Standard resistance:
    Tester Connection
    		Specified Condition
    L58-8 (GND) - Body ground
    		Below 1 Ω

    Standard voltage:
    Tester Connection
    		Specified Condition
    L58-1 (+B) - Body ground
    		10 to 14 V
