HINT:
  1. Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
  2. The procedures listed below are the LH side.



1. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL


2. DISCONNECT SPEED SENSOR FRONT

  1. Disconnect the speed sensor connector from the speed sensor front.

    NOTICE:
    1. Be careful not to damage the speed sensor.
    2. Prevent foreign matter from adhering to the speed sensor.



3. REMOVE FRONT DISC

  1. Put matchmarks on the front disc and the axle hub.

  1. Remove the front disc.



4. REMOVE FRONT DISC BRAKE CALIPER ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the 2 bolts and disc brake cylinder assembly from the knuckle.



5. REMOVE FRONT AXLE HUB SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the 4 bolts, front axle hub sub-assembly and front disc brake dust cover.



6. REMOVE SPEED SENSOR FRONT
  1. Install the 3 hub bolts. Placing an aluminum plate below the hub and bearing assembly, hold them in a vise.

    NOTICE:
    Replace the hub and bearing assembly if it is dropped or receives a strong shock.

  1. Remove the 2 pins from the SST (09520-00031) and separate the attachment (09521-00010) using a pin punch (3 mm) or hammer.

  1. Remove the speed sensor from the hub and bearing assembly using the SST and 2 bolts (90101-12007).

    NOTICE:
    1. Keep the sensor away from magnets.
    2. Pull the speed sensor off straight, taking care not to make contact with the speed sensor rotor.
    3. If the speed sensor rotor is damaged or deformed, replace the hub and bearing assembly.
    4. Do not scratch the area where the skid control sensor contacts the hub and bearing assembly.
    5. Do not attach foreign matter to the speed sensor rotor.
