NOTICE:
  1. DTCs for the CAN communication system are as follows: U0073, U0100, U0101,U0122, U0123, U0124, U0126, U0132, U0145, U1101, U0104, U0105, U0114, U0121, U0130, U0131, U0146, U0235, U1102, 5C-42.
  2. Refer to troubleshooting of each system if DTCs regarding the CAN communication system are not output.
  3. U001, U0236, and U01102 are displayed on the intelligent tester "Communication malfunction DTC" screen, but they are not DTCs in the CAN communication system. Refer to troubleshooting of each system.

    1. Check which of the following is adopted: Parking assist monitor system, LEXUS parking assist-sensor, dynamic radar cruise control and engine model.

    3.CHECK CAN BUS LINE

    4.CHECK INTELLIGENT TESTER

    1. Select "COMMUNICATION BUS CHECK" (Click here).

      Standard:
      All ECUs and sensors connected to the CAN communication system are displayed.

      NOTICE:
      1. The systems (ECUs, sensors) that adopt CAN communication vary depending on the vehicle and option settings. Check which systems (ECUs, sensor) are installed on the vehicle (Click here).
      2. Non-installed ECUs or sensors are not displayed. Do not mistake them for being in the communication stop mode.
      3. If two or more ECUs or sensors are not displayed on the intelligent tester, perform troubleshooting for communication stop mode for each undisplayed ECU or sensor. (Opencircuit on to CAN sub bus line side)

    5.DTC COMBINATION TABLE

    1. Confirm trouble according to the combination of output DTCs regarding the CAN communication system.

      HINT:
      Previous CAN communication system DTCs may be the cause if CAN communication system DTCs are output and all ECUs and sensors connected to the CAN communication system are displayed on the intelligent tester "Communication BUS CHECK" screen.
