FRONT STABILIZER BAR > INSTALLATION

1. Install the front stabilizer bar to the vehicle.
   

   NOTICE:

   The identification mark must be on the right side of the vehicle when installing the front stabilizer bar.

1. Install the 2 front stabilizer bar No.1 bushes outside of the bush stoppers on the front stabilizer bar as shown in the illustration.
   

   NOTICE:

   Be sure to install the front stabilizer bar No.1 bush so that the cutouts face the front of the vehicle.

1. Temporarily install the front stabilizer No.1 bracket LH to the side member with the 4 bolts.
   

2. Tighten the bolt (A) while pressing the front stabilizer No.1 bracket LH.
   

3. Tighten the 4 bolts to the specified torque in the order shown in the illustration.
   

   Torque:

   49 N*m{ 500 kgf*cm , 36 ft.*lbf }

HINT:

Install the RH side following the same procedures as with the LH side.

1. Install the front stabilizer No.2 bracket LH on the vehicle with the 2 bolts.
   

   Torque:

   49 N*m{ 500 kgf*cm , 36 ft.*lbf }

HINT:

Install the RH side following the same procedures as with the LH side.

1. Install the engine under cover LH with the bolt.
   

HINT:

Install the RH side following the same procedures as with the LH side.

1. Install the front stabilizer link assembly LH with the 2 nuts.
   

   Torque:

   84 N*m{ 856 kgf*cm , 62 ft.*lbf }

   HINT:

   If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a hexagon (6 mm) wrench to hold the stud.

HINT:

Install the RH side following the same procedures as with the LH side.

Torque:

103 N*m{ 1,050 kgf*cm , 76 ft.*lbf }
