DESCRIPTION

This DTC is detected when communication between the sliding roof drive gear (sliding roof control ECU) and network gateway ECU stops for more than 10 seconds.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.CHECK OPERATION

  1. Check that the tilt or slide switch can operate the sliding roof normally.

    OK:
    Tilt or slide switch can operate sliding roof normally.



NG
Go to step 2
OK

REPLACE SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY (SLIDING ROOF ECU) 

2.CHECK WIRE HARNESS (SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY (SLIDING ROOF ECU) - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)

  1. Disconnect the Y11 gear connector.

  1. Measure the resistance and voltage of the wire harness side connector.

    Standard Resistance:
    Tester Connection
    		Specified Condition
    Y11-7 (E) - Body ground
    		Below 1 Ω

    Standard Voltage:
    Tester Connection
    		Specified Condition
    Y11-5 (B) - Body ground
    		10 to 14 V

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR

3.CHECK RESISTANCE OF COMMUNICATION LINE

  1. Disconnect the Y11 drive gear connector.

  1. Disconnect the Y6 ECU connector.

  1. Measure the resistance and voltage of the wire harness side connector.

    Standard resistance:
    Tester Connection
    		Specified Condition
    Y11-10 (MPX1) - Y6-15 (MPX2)
    		Below 1 Ω
