HINT:

1. Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
   
2. The procedures listed below are for the LH side.
   
3. A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart.Click here
   

1. Install the weatherstrip with the clip.
   

1. Attach the clips to install the weatherstrip.
   

   HINT:

   If the clips are damaged during installation, replace them.

1. Install the door wire with the 2 bolts.
   

   Torque:

   8.0 N*m{ 82 kgf*cm , 71 in.*lbf }

   NOTICE:

   In order to prevent water leakage, be sure that the lip of the rubber grommet does not turn up or is not deformed when installing the door wire.

2. Connect the wire clips.
   

1. Apply MP grease to the sliding areas of the door check.
   

2. Install the door check with the 2 nuts.
   

   Torque:

   8.0 N*m{ 82 kgf*cm , 71 in.*lbf }

3. Apply adhesive to the threads of the bolt.
   

   Adhesive:

   Part No. 08833-00070, THREE BOND 1324 or equivalent
   

4. Install the door check with the bolt.
   

   Torque:

   27 N*m{ 275 kgf*cm , 20 ft.*lbf }

5. Install the cover.
   

1. Install the open rod to the outside handle frame.
   

2. Slide the outside handle frame in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration.
   

3. Using a T 30 "torx" socket, install the outside handle frame with the screw.
   

   Torque:

   4.0 N*m{ 41 kgf*cm , 35 in.*lbf }

   NOTICE:

   A cover should be inserted between the nut and the door panel.

4. Connect the connector.
   

1. Attach the 2 claws to install the pad.
   

1. Attach the 2 claws to install the pad.
   

1. Install the outside handle by pushing the outside handle in the direction of the arrows as shown in the illustration.
   

   NOTICE:

   If the bellcrank lever is not pulled and held when installing the outside handle, the bellcrank lever will interfere with the outside handle and it will damage the release plate.

2. w/ Smart access system:
   Connect the connector.
   

1. Using a T30 ''torx'' socket, install the cover with the screw.
   

   Torque:

   4.0 N*m{ 41 kgf*cm , 35 in.*lbf }

1. Apply MP grease to the sliding and rotating areas of the door lock.
   

2. Install a new door lock wire harness packing.
   

   NOTICE:

   1. When reinstalling the door lock, always use new packing.
      
   2. Do not allow grease or foreign matter to contaminate the gap between the door panel and packing.
      
   3. Old or damaged packing cannot effectively protect against water, which can damage the door lock.
      

3. Engage the lock with the door motor with the release plate of the outside handle, and then set it to the door panel.
   

   NOTICE:

   Make sure that the release plate of the outside handle frame is securely engaged with the lock.

4. Apply adhesive to the threads of the 3 screws.
   

   Adhesive:

   Part No. 08833-00070, THREE BOND 1324 or equivalent.
   

5. Using a T30 ''torx'' socket, install the door lock with the 3 screws.
   

   Torque:

   5.5 N*m{ 56 kgf*cm , 44 in.*lbf }

6. Connect the door lock connector.
   

1. Apply MP grease to the sliding and rotating areas of the regulator motor.
   

2. Using a T25 ''torx'' driver, install the motor with the 3 screws.
   

   Torque:

   5.4 N*m{ 55 kgf*cm , 48 in.*lbf }

1. Apply MP grease to the sliding and rotating areas of the window regulator.
   

2. Install the regulator with the 4 bolts.
   

   Torque:

   11 N*m{ 115 kgf*cm , 8 ft.*lbf }

3. Connect the connector.
   

   NOTICE:

   Be careful not to drop the window regulator as it may become damaged.

1. Using an air riveter or hand riveter with a nose piece, attach the door window frame moulding to the door frame.
   

2. NOTICE:

   
   
   1. Do not pry the rivet with the riveter, as this will cause damage to the riveter and mandrel.
      
   
   
   2. Confirm that the rivets are seated properly against the moulding.
      Do not tilt the riveter when installing the rivet to the moulding.
      Do not leave any space between the rivet head and moulding.
      
   
   
   3. Do not leave any space between the moulding and door frame. Firmly hold together the 2 items while installing the rivet.
      

1. Put protective tape onto the door frame moulding and door frame.
   

2. Using an air riveter or hand riveter with a nose piece, attach the door window frame moulding to the door frame.
   

3. NOTICE:

   
   
   1. Do not pry the rivet with the riveter, as this will cause damage to the riveter and mandrel.
      
   
   
   2. Confirm that the rivets are seated properly against the moulding.
      Do not tilt the riveter when installing the rivet to the moulding.
      Do not leave any space between the rivet head and moulding.
      
   
   
   3. Do not leave any space between the moulding and door frame. Firmly hold together the 2 items while installing the rivet.
      

1. Attach the 6 claws to install the belt moulding.
   

NOTICE:

Be careful not to drop the rear door window regulator as it may become damaged.

1. Install the rear door glass into the door panel.
   

   HINT:

   1. Insert a cloth inside the door panel to prevent the door glass from being scratched.
      
   1. Position the door glass toward the front as much as possible.
      

1. Install the quarter glass together with the quarter window glass weatherstrip in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration.
   

2. Install the quarter window glass weatherstrip.
   

1. Install the division bar with the 2 bolts and screw.
   

1. Apply butyl tape to the door as shown in the illustration.
   

2. Install the service hole cover to the door panel.
   

   HINT:

   1. When installing the service hole cover, pull out the links and connectors through the service hole cover.
      
   2. There should be no wrinkles or folds after attaching the service hole cover.
      
   3. After attaching the service hole cover, check the sealing quality.
      

3. Install the armrest bracket with the 3 bolts.
   

1. Install the ECU with the 2 bolts.
   

2. Connect the connector.
   

1. Install the garnish with the 2 clips.
   

1. Attach the 6 clips to install the trim cover.
   

2. Install the screw.
   

1. Install the network switch with the 2 screws.
   

2. Connect the connector.
   

1. Connect the connector.
   

2. Attach the 2 claws to install the light.
   

1. Install the inside handle with the 4 screws.
   

1. Connect the 2 cables to the inside handle.
   

2. Install the weathrstrip to the trim by attaching the 4 clips labeled A.
   

3. Attach the 4 clips labeled B and 2 new clips labeled C to install the trim together with the weatherstrip.
   

4. Install the 2 screws.
   

5. Attach the 2 claws to install the trim lower cover.
   

1. Attach the 2 claws to install the courtesy light.
   

2. Attach the 4 claws to install the lens.
   

1. Attach the 3 claws to install the bezel plug.
   

1. Perform initialization (Click here).
   

   NOTICE:

   Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
