DESCRIPTION

This DTC is output when a malfunction is occurring in the IG output circuit, which is from the IG2 relay actuation circuit inside the power source control ECU to the IG2 relay.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.INSPECT RELAY (Marking: IG2)


    B060778E16

  1. Remove the IG2 relay from the engine room No. 2 relay block.

  1. Measure the resistance of the relay.

    Standard resistance:
    Tester Connection
    		Specified Condition
    3 - 5
    		10 kΩ or higher
    3 - 5
    		Below 1 Ω
    (when battery voltage is applied to terminals 1 and 2)

REPLACE RELAY
OK


2.CHECK WIRE HARNESS (ENGINE ROOM NO. 2 RELAY BLOCK - POWER SOURCE CONTROL ECU)

  1. Remove the IG2 relay from the engine room relay block No. 2.

  1. Disconnect the L73 ECU connector.

  1. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

    Standard resistance:
    Tester Connection
    		Specified Condition
    Engine room relay block No. 2 IG2 relay terminal 2 - L73-35 (IG2D)
    		Below 1 Ω
    Engine room relay block No. 2 IG2 relay terminal 1 - Body ground
    		Below 1 Ω
