INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.CHECK CAN BUS LINE FOR DISCONNECTION (SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU SUB BUS LINE)

  1. Turn the engine switch off.

  1. Disconnect the seat belt control ECU (W30).

  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard resistance:
    Tester Connection
    		Condition
    		Specified Value
    W30-4 (CANH) - W30-6 (CANL)
    		Engine switch off
    		54 to 69 Ω

2.CHECK WIRE HARNESS (IG1, PGND)

  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard resistance:
    Tester Connection

    W30-18 (PGND) - Body ground
    		Always
    		Below 1 Ω

  1. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard voltage:
    Tester Connection
    		Condition

    W30-3 (IG1) - Body ground
    		Engine switch on (IG)
    		10 to 14 V
