DESCRIPTION

When the tire pressure decreases, the ECU sends the communication signal to the combination meter assembly through the BEAN, and it indicates the tire pressure warning light on the combination meter assembly.
The tire pressure warning light also comes on when the signal for the tire pressure warning light is cut off.

HINT:
Refer to the "TIRE PRESSURE WARNING LIGHT AND INDICATOR CHART" section of the "DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM" for checking the condition of the tire pressure warning light (Click here ).

  1. Check if the DTC is output in the multiplex communication system (Click here).

2.PERFORM ACTIVE TEST BY INTELLIGENT TESTER (TIRE PRESSURE WARNING LIGHT)

  1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

  1. Turn the engine switch on (IG) and turn the intelligent tester main switch on.

  1. Select the ACTIVE TEST mode on the intelligent tester.

  1. Check the condition of the tire pressure warning light by operating the tester.
