DESCRIPTION

Both the entry lock and unlock functions do not operate when: 1) nothing is output from the door electrical key oscillator rear LH, 2) the entry and start system is disabled through customization, or 3) the entire power door lock control system is malfunctioning.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.CHECK MANUAL DOOR LOCK AND UNLOCK OPERATION

  1. Check that the manual door lock and unlock function operates normally.

    OK:
    Manual door lock and unlock function operates normally.

GO TO POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM
OK


2.PERFORM ACTIVE TEST (DOOR ELECTRICAL KEY OSCILLATOR REAR LH)

  1. Select the Active Test, use the intelligent tester to generate a control command, and then check that the oscillator operates.

3.CHECK WIRE HARNESS (CERTIFICATION ECU ASSEMBLY - DOOR ELECTRICAL KEY OSCILLATOR REAR LH)

  1. Disconnect the V33 ECU connector.

  1. Disconnect the s2 oscillator connector.

  1. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

    Standard resistance:
    Tester Connection
    		Specified Condition
    V33-8 (CLG3) - s2-10 (CLG)*1
    V33-10 (CLG4) - s2-10 (CLG)*2
    		Below 1 Ω
    V33-9 (CG3B) - s2-5 (CLGB)*1
    V33-11 (CG4B) - s2-5 (CLGB)*2
    		Below 1 Ω

4.CHECK WIRE HARNESS (DOOR ELECTRICAL KEY OSCILLATOR REAR LH - DOOR ELECTRICAL KEY ANTENNA REAR LH)

  1. Disconnect the s2 oscillator connector.

  1. Disconnect the s1 antenna connector.

  1. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

    Standard resistance:
    Tester Connection
    		Specified Condition
    s2-2 (SGT) - s1-6 (SGT2)
    		Below 1 Ω
    s2-3 (ANT1) - s1-5 (ANT1)
    		Below 1 Ω
    s2-8 (ANT2) - s1-2 (ANT2)
    		Below 1 Ω
    s2-9 (TRG-) - s1-1 (TRG-)

  1. Disconnect the Q3 ECU connector.

  1. Measure the resistance and voltage of the wire harness side connectors.

    Standard resistance:
    Tester Connection
    		Specified Condition
    s2-1 (+B) - Q3-7 (OSCB)
    		Below 1 Ω
    s2-7 (GND) - Q3-20 (OSCE)
    		Below 1 Ω

6.CHECK WIRE HARNESS (DOOR ELECTRICAL KEY ANTENNA REAR RH - MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU REAR LH)

  1. Disconnect the s1 antenna connector.

  1. Disconnect the Q3 ECU connector.

  1. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

    Standard resistance:
    Tester Connection
    		Specified Condition
    s1-3 (TRG+) - Q3-18 (TRG+)
    		Below 1 Ω

7.CHECK OPERATION OF ELECTRICAL KEY ANTENNA REAR LH

  1. After replacing the electrical key antenna rear LH with a normal one, check that the entry lock and unlock functions operate normally.

    OK:
    Entry lock and unlock functions operate normally.

8.CHECK OPERATION OF DOOR ELECTRICAL KEY OSCILLATOR REAR LH
