1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.



2. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY

  1. Detach the seat cushion's 2 front hooks from the vehicle body.

    NOTICE:
    Follow the instructions below carefully as the cushion frame deforms easily.


    1. Choose a hook to detach first. Place your hands near the hook as shown in the illustration. Then lift the seat cushion to detach the hook.

    2. Repeat for the other hook.

  1. Detach the seat cushion's 2 rear hooks from the seatback.

  1. Remove the seat cushion.



3. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY LH
  1. Remove the headrest (Click here).



4. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY RH
  1. Remove the headrest (Click here).



5. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY CENTER
  1. Remove the headrest (Click here).



6. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY

  1. Using a screwdriver, detach the claws and remove the 2 rear seat covers.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  1. Using a screwdriver, detach the claw to open the cap of the 3 rear seat shoulder belt guides.

  1. Remove the bolt and floor anchor part.

  1. Remove the 4 bolts and 2 nuts.

  1. Remove the seatback.



7. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

  1. Detach the 5 claws and remove the scuff plate.



8. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

HINT:
Use the same procedures described for the LH side.



9. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH LH

  1. Using a moulding remover, pull the garnish in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to detach the 5 claws. Then remove the garnish.



10. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH RH

HINT:
Use the same procedures described for the LH side.



11. REMOVE ROOF SIDE GARNISH INNER LH

  1. Detach the 4 clips.

  1. Pull the garnish in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to detach the 2 claws. Then remove the garnish.



12. REMOVE ROOF SIDE GARNISH INNER RH

HINT:
Use the same procedures described for the LH side.



13. REMOVE HIGH MOUNTED STOP LIGHT ASSEMBLY
  1. Remove the high mounted stop light.



14. REMOVE AUTOMATIC LIGHT CONTROL SENSOR
  1. Disconnect the connector and remove the sensor.



15. REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the bolt and anchor of the rear seat outer belt.

  1. Disconnect the connector labeled A.

  1. Remove the bolt labeled B and seat belt.

  1. Using a moulding remover, detach the 4 claws and remove the belt guide LH.

    HINT:
    Use the same procedure described for the RH side.

  1. Using a moulding remover, detach the 4 claws and remove the belt guide center.

  1. Detach the clip and remove the panel.



16. REMOVE NO.2 PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY

  1. Detach the 5 claws and 3 clips.

  1. Disconnect the connector and remove the panel.



17. REMOVE REAR WINDOW SHADE ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the 5 bolts.

  1. Loosen the bolt labeled A and remove the window shade.

    NOTICE:
    Do not remove the bolt labeled A.



18. REMOVE REAR SUNSHADE RELAY
  1. Using a screwdriver, detach the claw and remove the relay cover.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  1. Remove the 2 screws.

  1. Disconnect the connector and remove the relay.
