DESCRIPTION

The door unlock switch is built into the luggage compartment door striker.
This switch is turned on when the luggage compartment door is opened and turned off when the door is closed.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.INSPECT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR STRIKER ASSEMBLY (DOOR UNLOCK SWITCH)

  1. Disconnect the Z2 striker connector.

  1. Measure the resistance of the striker.

    Standard resistance:
    Tester Connection
    		Condition
    		Specified Condition
    1 - 2
    		Pushed
    		Below 1 Ω
    1 - 2
    		Not pushed
    		10 kΩ or higher

REPLACE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR STRIKER ASSEMBLY

2.CHECK WIRE HARNESS (LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR STRIKER ASSEMBLY - COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK ECU LH AND BODY GROUND)

  1. Disconnect the Z2 striker connector.

  1. Disconnect the W3 ECU connector.

  1. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

    Standard resistance:
    Tester Connection
    		Specified Condition
    Z2-1 - W3-11 (BDCY)
    		Below 1 Ω
    Z2-2 - Body ground
    		Below 1 Ω
