1. INSPECT SMOG VENTILATION SENSOR


  1. Measure the resistance of the connector. (CO, HC)

    1. Connect the battery's positive (+) lead to terminal 3 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 6.

      Standard resistance:
      Tester Connection
      		Condition
      		Specified Condition
      1 (SG) - 2 (DGS)
      		Spray with exhaust gas (CO, HC)
      		10 to 40 kΩ

      If the result is not as specified, replace the sensor.



  1. Measure the resistance of the connector. (NOx)

    1. Connect the battery's positive (+) lead to terminal 3 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 6.

      Standard resistance:
      Tester Connection
      		Condition
      		Specified Condition
      1 (SG) - 4 (DGS1)
      		Spray with exhaust gas (NOx)
      		10 to 40 kΩ

      If the result is not as specified, replace the sensor.
