DESCRIPTION

  1. This symptom may occur to all the door windows.
  2. The jam protection function only operates within a specified range during the AUTO UP operation.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR

  1. Reset the applicable power window regulator motor.

  1. Check that the power window AUTO UP/DOWN function operates normally.

    OK:
    AUTO UP/DOWN function operates normally.

2.CHECK JAM PROTECTION FUNCTION OPERATING RANGE

  1. Check that the jam protection function operates normally for applicable power window.

    HINT:
    The jam protection function does not operate from the fully closed position of the door glass to 4 mm (0.16 in.) below that.

    OK:
    Jam protection function operates normally.
