Disconnect the FE1 connector.
Using lead wires, connect the FE1 terminals as follows.

| Terminal 1 - Terminal 4 |
| Terminal 3 - Terminal 6 |
| Terminal 4 - Terminal 1 |
| Terminal 6 - Terminal 3 |
Warm up the engine.
Run the engine at 3,000 rpm for 10 seconds or more.
Read output DTC.

Disconnect the FE1 connector.
Disconnect the E7 ECM connector.
Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

Disconnect the F3 and F4 knock sensor connectors.
