When replacing the skid control ECU, perform initialization of linear solenoid valve and calibration (Click here).

1.INSPECT CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

  1. Check if the CAN communication system DTC is output (Click here).

    Result:

    Condition

2.INSPECT MULTIPLEX COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

  1. Check if the multiplex communication system DTC is output (Click here).

3.INSPECT SLIP INDICATOR LIGHT

  1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

  1. Start the engine.

  1. Select the "Slip Indicator Lamp" in the ACTIVE TEST and operate the SLIP indicator light by the intelligent tester.

    		Observe combination meter

  1. Check that "ON" and "OFF" of the SLIP indicator light are indicated on the combination meter when using the intelligent tester.

    OK:
    The SLIP indicator light turns on or off in accordance with the intelligent tester.

    HINT:
    If troubleshooting has been carried out according to the PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE, refer back to the table and proceed to the next step before replacing the part (Click here).

4.INSPECT COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY

  1. Check the combination meter assembly (Click here).
