SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

This circuit detects the conditions of the mirror control switch.
The integration control and panel assembly sends information about the operating condition of the mirror switch (switch input signals) through the BEAN line. Then the switch input signals are sent to the front multiplex network door ECU (driver side). Mirror adjustment is controlled by the front multiplex network door ECU (driver side).

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.CHECK POWER MIRROR CONTROL FUNCTION
  1. Using the outer mirror switch, check if the driver side power mirror can be adjusted. Using the retract switch, check if the driver side power mirror can be retracted and returned.

2.READ VALUE OF INTELLIGENT TESTER (MIRROR MASTER SWITCH AND MIRROR CONTROL SWITCH)
  1. Check the Data List for proper functioning of the mirror master switch and mirror control switch.

3.PERFORM ACTIVE TEST BY INTELLIGENT TESTER (POWER MIRROR CONTROL FUNCTION)
  1. Select the Active Test, use the intelligent tester to generate a control command, and then check the power mirror control function.

4.INSPECT OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY (DRIVER SIDE) (LEFT / RIGHT MOTOR, UP / DOWN MOTOR)

  1. Remove the driver side mirror.

  1. Apply battery voltage and check the operation of the power mirror.

    OK:

5.INSPECT FUSE (FR DOOR LH, FR DOOR RH)
  1. LHD:

    1. Remove the FR DOOR LH fuse from the cowl side junction block LH.
    RHD:
    1. Remove the FR DOOR RH fuse from the cowl side junction block RH .

  1. Measure the resistance of the fuse.

    Standard resistance:
    Below 1 Ω

6.CHECK WIRE HARNESS (FRONT MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU (DRIVER SIDE) - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)

  1. Disconnect the O3 or N4 ECU connector.

  1. Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.

    Standard voltage:
    LHD:
