SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

This circuit detects the conditions of the mirror retract switch.
The integration control and panel assembly sends information about the operating condition of the mirror retract switch (switch input signals) through the BEAN line. Then the switch input signals are sent to the front multiplex network door ECU LH and RH.

  1. Using the outer mirror switch, check if the power mirrors can be adjusted.

2.CHECK MIRROR RETRACT FUNCTION

  1. Check that the driver side and passenger side mirrors retract normally when operating the mirror retract switch.

3.PERFORM ACTIVE TEST BY INTELLIGENT TESTER (MIRROR RETRACT FUNCTION)

  1. Select the Active Test, use the intelligent tester to generate a control commend, and then check the mirror retract function.

4.INSPECT OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY LH (RETRACTABLE MIRROR MOTOR)

  1. Remove the mirror LH.

  1. For each mirror position:
    Disconnect the battery, set the mirror position by hand, connect the battery, and check the retractable mirror's movement.

    NOTICE:
    1. Disconnect and reconnect the battery once between each mirror position check.
    2. The mirror position cannot be changed manually when the battery is connected. To change the mirror position manually, the battery must be disconnected first.

  1. Check the Data List for proper functioning of the mirror retract switch.
