1. TIGHTEN BOLT

  1. Check the front seat mounting bolts.

    Torque:
    36.8 N*m{ 375 kgf*cm , 27 ft.*lbf }

  1. Tighten the front suspension lower crossmember-to-body mounting nuts.

    Torque:
    167 N*m{ 1,700 kgf*cm , 123 ft.*lbf } for A
    204 N*m{ 2,080 kgf*cm , 150 ft.*lbf } for B
    50 N*m{ 510 kgf*cm , 37 ft.*lbf } for C
    49 N*m{ 500 kgf*cm , 36 ft.*lbf } for D

  1. Tighten the rear suspension member-to-body mounting bolts.

    Torque:
    127 N*m{ 1300 kgf*cm , 94 ft.*lbf }



2. INSPECT TIRES AND INFLATION PRESSURE

HINT:
If the rotating direction of the tires is specified, rotate the tires as shown in illustration "A". If the rotating direction of the tires is not specified, rotate the tires as shown in illustration "B". If the vehicle is equipped with a full-size spare tire, rotate the tires as shown in illustration "C".



3. INSPECT LIGHTS, HORNS, WIPERS AND WASHERS


4. REPLACE AIR CONDITIONING FILTER
  1. Remove the filter (Click here).

  1. Visually inspect the surface of the filter.

  1. If the filter is contaminated with foreign matter, replace the filter.



5. INSPECT REFRIGERANT AMOUNT FOR AIR CONDITIONER
  1. Check the sight glass on the liquid tube (Click here).



6. CORROSION INSPECTION


7. FINAL INSPECTION
  1. Check the operation of these vehicle body parts.

    1. Hood

      1. Auxiliary catch operates properly.
      2. Hood locks securely when closed.

    2. Front and rear doors

      1. Door locks operate properly.
      2. Doors close properly.

    3. Luggage compartment door

      1. Door lock operates properly.

    4. Seats

      1. Seat adjusts easily and locks securely in any position.
      2. Front seatback locks securely in any position.

    5. Be sure that the vehicle is clean before returning it to the customer. In particular, pay attention to the following:

      1. Steering wheel
      2. Shift lever knob
      3. All switch knobs
      4. Seats
