FRONT BRAKE > INSTALLATION |
| 1. INSTALL DISC BRAKE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY |

Install the caliper with the 2 bolts.
| 2. CONNECT FRONT FLEXIBLE HOSE |

Connect the flexible hose with the union bolt and a new gasket.
| 3. INSTALL DISC BRAKE PAD KIT FRONT (PAD ONLY) |

Apply disc brake grease to the anti-squeal shims and install them to each pad.
| 4. INSTALL FRONT DISC BRAKE ANTI-RATTLE SPRING |
| 5. INSTALL FRONT DISC BRAKE WITH HOLE PIN |

Install the hole pin while pushing on the front disc brake anti-rattle spring.
Install the clip.
| 6. DISABLE BRAKE CONTROL (w/ ECB) |
Move the shift lever to the P position and apply the parking brake.

Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3 with the engine switch off.
Remove the 2 ABS motor relays with the engine switch off from the engine room relay block No.3.

Turn the engine switch on (IG).
Turn the intelligent tester on and select "DIAGNOSTIC MENU"→"ABS/VSC"→"ECB UTILITY"→"ECB INVALID".

Fill reservoir with brake fluid.
| 8. FILL RESERVOIR WITH BRAKE FLUID (w/ ECB) |

Add brake fluid into the reservoir.
| 9. BLEED BRAKE LINE (w/ VSC) |
Connect a vinyl tube to the bleeder plug.

Depress the brake pedal several times, then loosen the bleeder plug with the pedal depressed.

When fluid stops coming out, tighten the bleeder plug, then release the brake pedal.
Repeat (b) and (c) until all the air in the fluid is completely bled out.
Using SST, tighten the bleeder plug completely.
Repeat the above procedures for each wheel to bleed the air from the brake line.

Connect the vinyl tube to the bleeder plug.
Depress the brake pedal several times, then loosen the bleeder plug with the pedal depressed.

When fluid stops coming out, tighten the bleeder plug, then release the brake pedal.
Repeat (b) and (c) until all the air in the fluid is completely bled out.
Using SST, tighten the bleeder plug completely.
Repeat the above procedures for other wheels to bleed the air from the brake line.
| 11. CHECK FLUID LEVEL IN RESERVOIR (w/ VSC) |
Check the fluid level and add fluid if necessary.
| 12. CHECK BRAKE FLUID LEVEL (w/ ECB) |
After performing accumulator zero down (accumulator depressurizing), adjust the fluid level in the master cylinder reservoir to the MAX level.
| 13. INSPECT BRAKE FLUID LEAKAGE |
| 14. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL |
| 15. CHECK AND CLEAR DTC (w/ ECB) |
| 16. CHECK AND CLEAR DTC (w/ VSC) |
