POWER WINDOW CONTROL SYSTEM > All Power Window Up Functions do not Operate with Entry Lock Switch

DESCRIPTION

When a entry lock switch is pressed and held for approximately 3 seconds: 1) the multiplex network master switch assembly receives a signal via the driver door ECU 2) the multiplex network master switch transmits a signal to the multiplex network switches, and 3) all the power window motors are activated to close windows.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.CHECK BASIC FUNCTION (ENTRY AND START SYSTEM)

  1. Check that the entry lock switch operates normally.

    OK:
    Entry lock switch can lock all the doors.

GO TO ENTRY AND START SYSTEM

2.CHECK MANUAL UP / DOWN FUNCTION

  1. Check that the manual UP / DOWN function using the master switch and regulator switch can operate all the power windows.

    OK:
    Manual UP / DOWN function operates normally.

3.CHECK REMOTE UP / DOWN FUNCTION

  1. Check that the remote UP / DOWN function using the master switch can operate the power windows.

    OK:
    Manual UP / DOWN function operates normally.
