REASSEMBLY

Removal / installation


1. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE SHOE ADJUSTING HOLE PLUG

2. INSTALL REAR DISC

  1. F045499E02
    Aligning the matchmarks, install the rear disc.

    HINT:
    When replacing the rear disc with a new one, select the installation position where the rear disc has the minimum runout.


3. ADJUST PARKING BRAKE SHOE CLEARANCE

4. TEMPORARILY TIGHTEN REAR DISC BRAKE BLEEDER PLUG

5. INSTALL PISTON SEAL

  1. C109126E02
    Apply lithium soap base glycol grease to a new piston seal.

  1. Install the piston seal to the rear cylinder assembly.


6. INSTALL CYLINDER BOOT
  1. Apply lithium soap base glycol grease to the piston and a new cylinder boot.

  1. Install the cylinder boot to the piston as shown in the illustration.


7. INSTALL REAR DISC BRAKE PISTON

  1. C109277E02
    Install the cylinder boot to the rear cylinder assembly.

    NOTICE:
    Install the boot securely to the grooves of the cylinder.

  1. Push in the piston by hand and install the boot seal onto the grooves of the piston.

    NOTICE:
    Install the boot sent securely onto the grooves of the piston.


8. INSTALL REAR DISC BRAKE CYLINDER SLIDE BUSHING

  1. C109127E04
    Apply lithium soap base glycol grease to a new cylinder slide bushing.

  1. Install the cylinder slide bushing to the rear cylinder assembly.

    NOTICE:
    Install the cylinder slide bushing securely to the grooves of the rear cylinder assembly.


9. INSTALL REAR BRAKE BUSHING DUST BOOT

  1. C109128E03
    Apply lithium soap base glycol grease to a new bushing dust boot.

  1. Install the bushing dust boot to the rear cylinder assembly.

    NOTICE:
    Install the bushing dust boot securely to the grooves of the rear cylinder assembly.


10. INSTALL CALIPER SUPPORT BRACKET

  1. C109129E01
    Apply lithium soap base glycol grease to the caliper support bracket.

  1. Install the caliper support bracket to the rear cylinder assembly.

    NOTICE:
    Install the bushing dust boot securely to the grooves of the caliper support bracket.
