REPLACEMENT
Removal / installation
| 1. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL |
| 2. REMOVE FRONT DISC BRAKE CALIPER ASSEMBLY |
Remove the No. 1 caliper plates from the brake caliper.

- NOTICE:
- Use wire or equivalent to prevent the brake caliper from hanging down by the flexible hose.
| 3. REMOVE FRONT DISC |
Put matchmarks on the disc and the axle hub.

Remove the front disc.
| 4. REMOVE FRONT AXLE HUB BOLT |
Using SST, remove the front axle hub bolt.

- SST
- 09628-10011
- NOTICE:
- Do not damage the threads of the hub bolts.
| 5. INSTALL FRONT AXLE HUB BOLT |
Install the washer and nut to a new bolt as shown in the illustration.

Using a screwdriver or equivalent to hold the hub, turn the wheel nut to pull the hub bolt until the bottom surface of the hub bolt head touches the axle hub.
- NOTICE:
- Do not damage the threads of the hub bolts.
| 6. INSTALL FRONT DISC |
Align the matchmarks and install the front disc.
- HINT:
- When replacing the disc with a new one, select the installation position where the front disc has the minimum runout.
| 7. INSTALL FRONT DISC BRAKE CALIPER ASSEMBLY |
Install the brake caliper assembly and new No. 1 caliper plates to the steering knuckle with the 2 bolts.

- Torque:
- 78 N*m{ 795 kgf*cm , 58 ft.*lbf }
- NOTICE:
- Do not twist the front brake hose when installing the front disc brake caliper.
- Make sure that there are no foreign objects or damage to the threads of the bolts.
- Do not overtighten the bolts because the steering knuckle is made of aluminum and may be damaged easily.
- Do not twist the front brake hose when installing the front disc brake caliper.
| 8. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL |
- Torque:
- 103 N*m{ 1,050 kgf*cm , 76 ft.*lbf }
