Diagnostic trouble codes

DESCRIPTION

The seat belt control ECU is connected to the gateway ECU using CAN communication.
The seat belt control ECU receives vehicle model information from the gateway ECU and determines whether the seat belt buckle switch information from the center airbag sensor assembly is for the driver seat or the passenger seat.
DTC B2064 is output when the CAN communication frame with the gateway ECU is normal and communication is available, but the steering wheel position information is not set or varies.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
: When the seat belt control ECU is replaced with a new one, INITIALIZATION must be performed (Click here).

1. INITIALIZE SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU

Initialize the seat belt control ECU (Click here).

NEXT

2. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (PRE-CRASH SAFETY SYSTEM)

Delete the DTC (Click here).

Recheck for DTC.

OK:

DTC B2064 is not output.

USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK

3. REPLACE GATEWAY ECU

4. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (PRE-CRASH SAFETY SYSTEM)

Delete the DTC (Click here).

Recheck for DTC.

OK:

DTC B2064 is not output.
