This DTC is output when the VSC system detects a malfunction in the ABS control system.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:

When replacing the brake actuator assembly, perform zero point calibration (Click here).

1. CHECK ABS CONTROL SYSTEM

1. Clear the DTC (Click here).

2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

3. Check if the same DTC is recorded (Click here).
   

   Result:

   Condition	Proceed to
   DTC (ABS control system DTC) is not output	A
   DTC (ABS control system DTC) is output	B (Click here)

B	REPAIR CIRCUIT INDICATED BY OUTPUT DTC

2. RECONFIRM DTC

1. Clear the DTC (Click here).

2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

3. Check if the same DTC is recorded (Click here).
   

   Result:

   Condition	Proceed to
   DTC (C1223/43) is not output	A
   DTC (C1223/43) is output	B
