REMOVAL

Removal / installation


1. REMOVE REAR WHEEL

2. REMOVE NO. 2 DIFFERENTIAL SUPPORT PROTECTOR

  1. C117266
    Remove the 2 nuts and the No. 2 differential support protector.


3. SEPARATE REAR SHOCK ABSORBER WITH COIL SPRING

  1. Remove the bolt and nut (B), and separate the rear shock absorber with coil spring from the rear No. 2 suspension arm assembly.


4. REMOVE REAR UPPER NO. 2 CONTROL ARM

    Remove the nut on the axle carrier side.

    Using SST, separate the rear upper No. 2 control arm.

    NOTICE:
    1. Securely tie the string of the SST to the vehicle.
    2. Do not damage the dust cover.
    3. Securely set the SST on the spacer of the axle carrier.
    4. If the spacer of the axle carrier comes off, replace the axle carrier with a new one.

    Remove the bolt, nut, washer, and rear upper No. 2 control arm.

    HINT:
    Push the axle carrier downward.
