Diagnostic trouble codes
DESCRIPTION
A key code confirmation signal (ON or OFF) is sent from the power source control ECU to the multiplex tilt & telescopic ECU via the communication bus.The multiplex tilt & telescopic ECU uses this signal to operate the auto away/return function.

- HINT:
- The power tilt & power telescopic steering column system uses the multiplex communication system, so check its diagnostic system before proceeding to troubleshooting.
Check if DTC B2621 is output.
- Result:

- If DTC B2621 besides B2602 and B2606 are output, perform troubleshooting for B2621 first.
- DTC B2621 indicates a communication interruption for the power tilt & power telescopic steering column system.
- If DTC B2621 besides B2602 and B2606 are output, perform troubleshooting for B2621 first.

| 2. READ VALUE OF INTELLIGENT TESTER |
Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.
Turn the engine switch on (IG) and turn the intelligent tester on.
Select "Key Code Confirm (MPX)" and "IG Switch (MPX)" from the DATA LIST.
Check the communication state of the tester screen.
