INSTALLATION

Removal / installation


1. INSTALL WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR ASSEMBLY

  1. E119603
    Using a "torx" socket wrench (T30), install the windshield wiper motor assembly with the 2 bolts.

    Torque:
    7.5 N*m{ 77 kgf*cm , 66 in.*lbf }

    Apply MP grease to the crank arm pivot of the windshield wiper motor assembly.

  1. Install the windshield wiper No. 1 link rod to the crank arm pivot of the windshield wiper motor assembly as shown in the illustration.

    Apply MP grease to the pivot of the windshield wiper link assembly.

  1. Install the windshield wiper No. 1 link rod to the pivot of the windshield wiper link assembly as shown in the illustration.

    Install the windshield wiper No. 2 link rod to the crank arm pivot of the windshield wiper motor assembly as shown in the illustration.


2. INSTALL WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY

  1. E119856
    Install the windshield wiper motor and link assembly with the 2 bolts.

    Torque:
    5.5 N*m{ 56 kgf*cm , 49 in.*lbf }

  1. Connect the 2 connectors.


3. INSTALL COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. E119596
    Engage the 11 claws.

  1. E119595
    Install the cowl top ventilator louver sub-assembly with the 2 clips.


4. INSTALL FRONT WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY LH

  1. Operate the wiper, and stop the windshield wiper motor at the automatic stop position.

    Clean the wiper arm serrations.

  1. Clean the wiper pivot serrations with a wire brush (when reinstalling).

    Install the front wiper arm and blade assembly LH with the nut at the position as shown in the illustration.

    Torque:
    22 N*m{ 224 kgf*cm , 16 ft.*lbf }

    HINT:
    Hold the arm hinge by hand to fasten the nut.

    		 15 to 30 mm (0.59 to 1.18 in.)
    B
    		 Approx. 40 mm (1.57 in.)


5. INSTALL FRONT WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY RH

  1. Operate the wiper, and stop the windshield wiper motor at the automatic stop position.

    Clean the wiper arm serrations.

  1. Clean the wiper pivot serrations with a wire brush (when reinstalling).

    Install the front wiper arm and blade assembly RH with the nut at the position as shown in the illustration.

    Torque:
    22 N*m{ 224 kgf*cm , 16 ft.*lbf }

    HINT:
    Hold the arm hinge by hand to fasten the nut.

    		 18.5 to 33.5 mm (0.73 to 1.32 in.)
    B
    		 Approx. 20 mm (0.79 in.)

  1. Operate the front wipers while spraying washer fluid on the windshield glass. Make sure that the front wipers function properly and there is no interference with the vehicle body.


6. INSTALL FRONT WIPER ARM HEAD CAP

  1. E119609
    Install the front wiper arm head cap.

    HINT:
    Use the same procedures for the RH side and the LH side.


7. INSTALL ROOF DRIP SIDE FINISH MOULDING LH

8. INSTALL ROOF DRIP SIDE FINISH MOULDING RH

9. INSTALL FRONT UPPER FENDER PROTECTOR LH

  1. E119591
    Engage the claw and the 3 clips, then install the front upper fender protector LH.

  1. Engage the clip on the rubber portion of the cowl top ventilator louver sub-assembly to the front fender protector upper LH.


10. INSTALL FRONT UPPER FENDER PROTECTOR RH

HINT:
Use the same procedures for the RH side and the LH side.


11. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH

  1. A123702E01
    Install the side cover with the 5 clips.


12. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH

  1. A123703E01
    Install the side cover with the 2 clips.


13. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL

  1. A127530
    Install the intake duct seal with the 11 clips.
