INSPECT FRONT SEAT HEATER CONTROL LH

  1. Disconnect the seat heater control LH connector.

  1. B101020E12
    Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Resistance:
    Tester Connection
    		 Condition
    		 Specified Condition
    3 (E) - Body ground
    		 Always
    		 Below 1 Ω

    Voltage:
    Tester Connection
    		 Condition
    		 Specified Condition
    2 (SWL) - 3 (E)
    		 Engine switch on (IG), seat heater switch OFF → ON
    		 0 V → 10 to 14 V
    5 (B) - 3 (E)
    		 Engine switch OFF → on (IG)
    		 0 V → 10 to 14 V

  1. Reconnect the seat heater control LH connector.

  1. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Voltage:
    Tester Connection
    		 Condition
    		 Specified Condition
    4 (THL) - 3 (E)
    		 Engine switch on (IG), seat heater switch volume 1 → 3
    		 Gradual increase between 0 V → 10 to 14 V


INSPECT FRONT SEAT HEATER CONTROL RH

  1. Disconnect the seat heater control RH connector.

  1. B101020E10
    Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Resistance:
    Tester Connection
    		 Condition
    		 Specified Condition
    3 (E) - Body ground
    		 Always
    		 Below 1 Ω

    Voltage:
    Tester Connection
    		 Condition
    		 Specified Condition
    4 (SWR) - 3 (E)
    		 Engine switch on (IG), seat heater switch OFF → ON
    		 0 V → 10 to 14 V
    5 (B) - 3 (E)
    		 Engine switch OFF → on (IG)
    		 0 V → 10 to 14 V

  1. Reconnect the seat heater control RH connector.

  1. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Voltage:
    Tester Connection
    		 Condition
    		 Specified Condition
    4 (THR) - 3(E)
    		 Engine switch on (IG), seat heater switch volume 1 → 3
    		 Gradual increase between 0 V → 10 to 14 V
