Disconnect the windshield deicer switch connector.
Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Below 1 V → 10 to 14 V

Engine switch on (IG)

Reconnect the windshield deicer connector.
Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Engine switch on (IG), windshield deicer switch OFF → ON
Below 1 V → 10 to 14 V (after 15 +- 3 minutes: Below 1 V)
5 (IG) - 3(E)
Engine switch on (IG), windshield deicer switch ON
10 to 14 V → Below 1 V
